Insurance Information
At Westchester Laser Vein Center, we accept most insurance plans. A list of the insurance plans that we accept is provided below. Patients requiring medical treatment of varicose veins are covered by most insurance plans. Cosmetic treatments are not covered.
Most insurance companies require three to six months of conservative non-operative treatment prior to approval for procedures to get rid of varicose veins. Conservative treatment is defined by insurance companies as exercise, periodic leg elevation, compression therapy (stockings), weight loss, and avoidance of prolonged sitting and standing.
Some insurance plans require a referral prior to being seen by our doctors. If this is the case, please obtain a referral from your doctor prior to the visit. We will ask you for a copy of your insurance card. Many insurance plans require you to make a co-payment for the office visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and most credit cards for the payment.
